Vitalia Senior Residences at Westlake Looks Forward to This Year’s Spring-Cleaning

Spring-cleaning is celebrated in cultures across the world. Due to the tilt of the Earth on its axis, the northern hemisphere begins to see the winter-scape come to life with daffodils blooming, grass greening, and temperatures warming during late March, into early April.  

Spring-cleaning has grown into National Spring-Cleaning Week. This annual effort has expanded beyond house and business cleaning into peoples’ finances, technology, and other areas of a person’s life. With that in mind, Vitalia Senior Residences at Westlake is looking forward to completing this year’s community-wide spring-cleaning effort!

The activities I complete during spring-cleaning are power washing my home and making sure all my windows have been wiped down from the inside. I also like to arrange my desk/office and remove any unwanted materials, giving me more space to work.

The benefits of spring-cleaning are boosting productivity and giving you a calm feeling when everything is arranged or put away neatly. Spring-cleaning also improves levels of stress around the home.

Other than cleaning my home or office, I like to make sure my phone is cleared of any old files or downloads. During the spring-cleaning I also like to take care of my health and make it a point to exercise more often.
This will be the third year of our tradition of spring-cleaning within the community and each year is better than the last! Come see for yourself how a clean, well-kept community brings smiles to its residents and staff.
