As spring blooms across Ohio, the team at Vitalia Westlake embraces the season with fresh energy. Longer days, warmer temperatures and the return of green spaces inspire us to prepare our community for outdoor enjoyment, shared experiences, and meaningful moments in nature.
To kick off the season, our Plant Operations team gets right to work. We manage landscaping and irrigation while following wildlife regulations that protect our surrounding environment. In addition, we inspect courtyard furniture, clean pathways, and ensure entrance areas are safe, welcoming, and ready for use.
In collaboration with the Resident Garden Club, we carefully select seasonal flowers and plants. This partnership ensures our gardens reflect the tastes and passions of those who live here. Residents feel a sense of ownership and pride seeing their preferences bloom throughout the grounds.
Spring at Vitalia Westlake is about more than flowers and fresh air—it is about connection and celebration. One of our favorite traditions is the Cleveland Guardians home opener event. Residents and team members gather to cheer on our team while enjoying the year’s first outdoor cookout, hosted by Culinary, Resident Services, and Plant Operations.
Another spring highlight is our Easter Egg Hunt. This family-friendly celebration brings laughter, games, and seasonal treats to residents and their loved ones. We complement the day with a festive brunch and live entertainment for all ages.
