12 Days of Christmas Culinary Delights at Vitalia Westlake: A Festive Adventure!

‘Tis the season to indulge in Arrow’s most festive tradition, The 12 Days of Christmas. It’s time for Vitalia Westlake’s culinary team to get creative for each day of festivities. As residents, family, and friends join around the table. We’ll embark on a delectable adventure. It started with the iconic partridge in a pear tree and ended with the drummers drumming. Each day will be a culinary experience that truly captures the essence of the holiday season. Every unique dish tells tales of tradition, celebration, and the spirit of togetherness.

My favorite of the 12 Days of Christmas is six geese a laying, for the sixth day because it’s a breakfast menu, and breakfast is good any time of day. The dessert days are the most challenging of the 12 Days: two, eight, and nine. I have never called myself a baker, and for good reason. I try my best, but desserts are not my strong suit.

The residents seem to enjoy dessert days the most. I have a building full of ladies with a sweet tooth. However, the staff prefers Happy Hour events featuring five golden rings for the fifth day and drumsticks representing twelve drummers drumming. Those flow smoother, and there are left-over snacks as well. 

My family’s holiday tradition is that dinner is served at 2:00 pm, and we will start with or without you.

The culinary team is immersed in the magic of shared meals, laughter, and holiday warmth that truly brings our community together. The 12 Days of Christmas has allowed the team to explore the diverse and vibrant spectrum of flavors that make this season truly magical.
